George J. Maurer, Owner

Mr. Maurer has been a professional planner since 1981.  He has worked for county governments, the private sector, and as an independent consultant.  His career has focused on the conservation of farm and forest lands.  He has experience and qualifications in: farmland preservation, agricultural conservation practices and plans, federal and state conservation programs and grants, and project management.  Mr. Maurer possesses a Master of Science from Penn State University with an emphasis in land conservation planning, and a Bachelor of Arts from Kutztown State University with a major in biology.  He is a technical service provider and conservation planner as certified by the USDA - Natural Resources Conservation Service.  He is also licensed to prepare nutrient management plans by the Maryland Department of Agriculture  Mr. Maurer is the founder and owner of Conservation Partners, LLC.
